Fertility Specialists of Texas is committed to providing the most comprehensive medical care for same-sex couples. Medication is a vital part of most patient’s treatment plan, and at Fertility Specialists of Texas, we realize that for some patients their insurance plans may not cover the cost of these medications. In an effort to help you receive the necessary medications needed for your course of treatment, Fertility Specialists of Texas participates in programs that offer medication discounts.

EMD Serono

Compassionate Care Program

The Compassionate Care Program is designed to provide eligible patients savings on Gonal-f® (follitropin alfa for injection), Ovidrel® PreFilled Syringe (choriogonadotropin alfa injection), or Cetrotide® (cetrorelix acetate for injection).

  • Depending on income, eligible patients may save either 50% or 75% off the self-pay price of medicine or save $10 per unit via a mail-in rebate.
  • Depending on income, eligible medically retired veterans may save 25%, 50%, or 75% off the self-pay price of medicine.

Go-Direct To Savings Program

Currently, eligible self-pay patients can receive a discount on Gonal-f® medication with EMD Serono’s GO – Direct To Savings program, the more medication required, during a patient’s treatment, the more they will save. For more information about this program, click here.

Co-Pay Savings Card Program

The Gonal-f® Co-Pay Savings Card is a new alternative for eligible patients with insurance, to save money by reducing out-of-pocket/co-pay costs associated with Gonal-f®. Compassionate Corps Program

The Compassionate Care program makes available fertility medication discounts for all military families. In order to be able to utilize this program military families cannot have other insurance for fertility medications. Once the patient applies for the Compassionate Care Program they receive an automatic discount of at least 25% off of the self-pay price of EMD Serono medications. First Steps

Village Fertility Pharmacy and DesignRx are committed to providing fertility patients with a wide array of financial options for reaching dreams of a family. First Steps is available to self pay patients needing help paying for their medications. Patients who qualify based on income or hardship cases may receive to up to 75% off their prescription purchase price. Furthermore, everyone who applies will receive some level of discount, with the largest discounts reserved for those who have the largest financial need. A tiered approach (5%, 25%, 50%, and 75%) makes it easier for patients to qualify.
