We provide the family-building support gay parents need to welcome a baby

When you want nothing more than to welcome a baby, you want to make sure you have the right people helping you on your journey. Fertility Specialists of Texas is proud to help gay parents like you start and grow their families using the latest family-building options. Our LGBT fertility clinic offers gay fertility treatments, including egg donation and gestational surrogacy to help make parenthood possible.

How gay fertility treatments make the dream of parenthood come true

When single men and gay couples want to share a biological connection with their child, we recommend third party reproduction. Specifically, gay parents will need to rely on a generous egg donor and an amazing gestational surrogate.

The egg donor will provide her eggs for the pregnancy, while the gestational surrogate will carry the pregnancy and deliver the baby. Our lab team will combine sperm from you and/or your partner with donor eggs as part of an IVF cycle. Your fertility doctor will then transfer a resulting embryo into the uterus of your surrogate.

When it comes to gay fertility treatments, you have several options for selecting an egg donor and gestational surrogate.

  • You can rely on a donor from the in-house donor program at our LGBT fertility clinic or a donor from another reputable egg donation program. This is known as anonymous egg donation.
  • You also have the option to pursue known egg donation by asking a friend or a family member to serve as your egg donor.
  • As for picking a surrogate, you can either select one from a well-respected surrogacy agency or ask someone you know to be your surrogate.

It’s important to note that your egg donor and your gestational surrogate cannot be the same person. This helps avoid ethical and moral issues with third party reproduction.

We help simplify the journey for gay parents

Our team realizes that a lot goes into gay fertility treatments, so our goal is to make the process as simple as possible. One of the ways we do this is by offering an in-house egg donor program that adheres to the strictest screening protocols.

This screening ensures that our donors can provide high-quality eggs that will result in pregnancy while keeping everyone involved in the process healthy and safe. It also helps prevent legal complications.

While we do not provide gestational surrogates or sperm donors, we work closely with many reputable agencies. As a result, we can direct you to the best sources for highly qualified surrogates and sperm donors.

If you’d like to get started on your path to parenthood, contact our LGBT fertility clinic. We can’t wait to help you explore the options for gay parents.

Seeing our baby for the first time was like free falling and suddenly flying. All these emotions rush over you and all you want to do is hold on to them forever. I couldn’t stop looking at him and smiling…then crying again! We’re so thankful we took this journey. We can’t imagine our lives without him.
